Preview: Arvin Bears vs. Tehachapi Warriors
Arvin is 0-4 against Tehachapi since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Arvin Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Tehachapi Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Arvin suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 76-52 loss at the hands of Mira Monte. Arvin has not had much luck with Mira Monte recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Leonardo Cano Rizo, who scored 25 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Tehachapi's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Bakersfield.
Arvin has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Tehachapi, they bumped their record down to 6-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Arvin was taken down by Tehachapi 81-54 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Arvin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
