Football Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

Berkeley Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 33-7 to the Lewis County Minutemen.

Berkeley Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lewis County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

Coming up, Berkeley Springs will look to defend their home field on Friday against Moorefield at 7:00 p.m. The Indians will be up against the Yellow Jackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.78 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lewis County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Minutemen will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
