After losing to Southampton Academy the last time they met, Fuqua decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 45-36 on Tuesday. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
The win made it two in a row for Fuqua and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 55 points in those games. As for Southampton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
