Softball Recap: Chaska Comes Up Short

Chaska was the 12-11 winner over St. Louis Park when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orioles on Monday.

Ellie Scott made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Macy Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.

Chaska now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Louis Park, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaska will take on Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Louis Park, they will challenge Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
