Basketball Recap: Red Springs Takes a Loss

Red Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Pauls Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-33 back in December of 2024.

Red Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for St. Pauls, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Springs will host Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for St. Pauls, they will look to defend their home court on January 17th against Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. Fairmont will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something St. Pauls surely won't give up without a fight.
