Baseball Recap: Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Louisville

Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Louisville Lions 6-0. Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Louisville, too.

Not much got past Cole Cheatham, who gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Louisville off the board. Cheatham also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jon Primmer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, Primmer posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Rocco Vigneri was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

The win got Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Louisville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
