Volleyball Recap: Findlay Trojans vs. Columbian Tornadoes

Findlay was the 3-2 winner over Columbian when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Tornadoes on Monday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Findlay had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 17-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Defeat or not, Findlay got some senior leadership from Delaney Harris and Stephanie Ragan. Harris had 12 digs and two aces, while Ragan had 11 digs and one assist.

Erica Raubenolt was a one-woman wrecking crew For Columbian. as she had 18 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Raubenolt has posted since back in August.

Findlay's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Columbian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Findlay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Whitmer on the 30th. As for Columbian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bellevue on the 30th.
