Soccer Game Preview: Paola vs. Bonner Springs

Paola is 0-3 against Bonner Springs since October of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Panthers will take on the Braves. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Paola will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Monday, then bounced right back against Fort Scott on Thursday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering Paola's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Bonner Springs kept a clean sheet against Tonganoxie on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Chieftains 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bonner Springs.

Paola's record now sits at 2-6. As for Bonner Springs, their record is now 6-2-2.

Paola might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Bonner Springs in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
