Softball Recap: McDonough Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McDonough can now relate to. They came up short against the Huntingtown Hurricanes on Monday, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-0 back in March.

McDonough has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Huntingtown, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.

McDonough does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntingtown, they have already played their next game, a 14-8 win against La Plata on the 13th.
