Softball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Timberwolves vs. Marshall Bobcats

The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves will challenge the Marshall Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Marshall took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Ridge, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Cedar Ridge turned things around against Mammoth Spring on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Bears. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by nine runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Marshall came up short against Sloan-Hendrix on Thursday and fell 8-3. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Cedar Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
