Softball Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western and Glen Burnie squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Western had to settle for second. They came up short against the Gophers, falling 19-4. Western has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Glen Burnie, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-12.

While Western had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
