Softball Recap: Gruver Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lockney

It's playoff time, and Gruver had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Lockney Longhorns 11-1 on Saturday. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Gruver is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Lockney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-18.

As of now, neither Gruver nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
