Soccer Recap: Madison Highland Prep Takes a Loss

Madison Highland Prep was the 4-1 winner over Highland Prep West when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Heat fell just short of the HORNETS by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Madison Highland Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Highland Prep West are ranked third).

Madison Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Highland Prep West, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison Highland Prep will challenge Benson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highland Prep West, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against The Gregory School at 4:00 p.m.
