Volleyball Preview: C.H. Yoe Meets Rogers

The C.H. Yoe Yoemen will take on the Rogers Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, C.H. Yoe came up short against Thrall and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Franklin.

While Rogers was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Franklin's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-24.

Rogers has now lost 13 of their last 15 games on the road. That's part of the reason why they have an 8-20 record this season. As for C.H. Yoe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-14 record this season.

Everything went C.H. Yoe's way against Rogers when the teams last played on September 22nd, as C.H. Yoe made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Yoemen repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll have the answer soon enough.
