Softball Game Preview: Okoboji Pioneers vs. North Union Warriors

Okoboji hasn't had much luck against North Union recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Pioneers will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Okoboji has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Okoboji's offense. They came up short against Trinity Christian on Saturday, falling 13-0. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Union owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Okoboji's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Union, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
