Softball Recap: West Point Pointers vs. King & Queen Central Royal Tigers

West Point can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers as the West Point Pointers made off with a 17-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what West Point needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Terrah Henrich tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, West Point got a massive performance out of Maggie Winter, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Haley Spradlin, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, a run, and a double.

West Point's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for King & Queen Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10-1.

West Point didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 win vs. Mathews on the 7th.
