Shakopee took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They skirted past the Eden Prairie Eagles 2-1. This was payback for Shakopee, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

This is the second loss in a row for Eden Prairie and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shakopee will take on Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eden Prairie, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Minnetonka at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
