Volleyball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Winchester Community Golden Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-12.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Winchester Community, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Coming up, Union will look to defend their home court on Monday against Shenandoah at 6:00 p.m. As for Winchester Community, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Monroe Central on the 27th.
