Jefferson has gone a perfect 4-0 against Brandon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Jefferson sitting on five straight victories and Brandon Valley on three.

Jefferson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Saturday. They came out on top against Washington by a score of 58-48.

Meanwhile, Brandon Valley earned a 53-42 win over Pierre T.F. Riggs last Saturday. Given the Lynx's advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Governors are ranked 73rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jefferson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Brandon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.

Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brandon Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Brandon Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
