Basketball Recap: Whitewright Triumphs

Whitewright won against Sam Rayburn last Tuesday with 38 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Whitewright Tigers secured a 38-32 W over the Wolfe City Wolves. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wolves back in January, they had to take a 39-33 defeat.

Whitewright has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Wolfe City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.

Whitewright has already played their next game (against Sam Rayburn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wolfe City will challenge Tom Bean at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
