Cooper proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wylie Bulldogs, sneaking past 1-0. The victory was all the more spectacular given Cooper's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 449th, while Wylie are ranked 160th).

Cooper now has a winning record of 7-6-2. As for Wylie, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1.

Coming up, Cooper will take on Abilene H at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wylie, they will challenge Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wylie surely won't give up without a fight.
