Soccer Recap: Minarets Comes Up Short

Minarets managed to keep up with Chowchilla until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mustangs came up short against the Tribe, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for Minarets in their meetings with Chowchilla: they've now lost nine in a row.

Minarets' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Chowchilla, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Minarets will head out on the road to challenge Tranquillity at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chowchilla, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Los Banos on the 11th.
