Basketball Recap: Yutan Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Yutan won the last time they faced Louisville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yutan Chieftains enjoyed a cozy 48-32 victory over the Louisville Lions. The Chieftains pushed the score to 39-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Louisville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Carly Haun, who posted ten points, and Allie Hiatt, who earned eight points.

Yutan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Louisville, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Yutan will host Syracuse at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Louisville, they will challenge Logan View/Scribner-Snyder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
