Volleyball Game Preview: Pikeville Panthers vs. Perry County Central Commodores

The Pikeville Panthers will face off against the Perry County Central Commodores at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Perry County Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Pikeville, who comes in off a win.

Pikeville is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Letcher County Central.

Pikeville was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Perry County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Letcher County Central, falling 3-0.

Perry County Central took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-17.
