Woodburn is 8-2 against Central since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Woodburn Bulldogs will take on the Central Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Woodburn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.

Woodburn is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Lebanon by a score of 82-74 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Central came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past McKay 74-72.

Woodburn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Woodburn was able to grind out a solid victory over Central when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 58-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodburn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
