Baseball Recap: Cactus Comes Up Short

Cactus was the 9-8 winner over Agua Fria when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Cactus fell just short of Agua Fria by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cactus saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Phoenix Huisinga, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Cactus is 2-1 when Huisinga posts two or more runs, but 2-10 otherwise. Raven Anderson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Cactus' record now sits at 4-11. As for Agua Fria, they moved to 2-9 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
