Baseball Recap: Armijo Gets the Win

Armijo won the last time they faced Burbank and things went their way on Thursday too. Armijo walked away with a 10-5 win over Burbank. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Chase Lewis and Juan Uscanga did most of the damage at the plate: Lewis scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Uscanga scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-5. Lewis has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Benny Reid was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Armijo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
