Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Arcadia was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Glendale on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Apaches lost 3-0 to the Crescenta Valley Falcons on Thursday. The Apaches have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-18.

Arcadia's offense was headlined by Nina Tang and Clara Massey, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Angelina Zhou and her six assists. Erin Sum controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Crescenta Valley, they pushed their record up to 9-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Arcadia has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Mayfield on the 19th. As for Crescenta Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Hoover on the 23rd.
