Softball Recap: Peddie Drops Highest Score of Season Against Hill School

Peddie scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 16-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hill School Rams. The Falcons have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Chloe Salapatas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Kent, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.

Peddie's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hill School, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peddie will head out to challenge Germantown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hill School, they will venture away from home to face off against Baldwin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
