Basketball Game Preview: Smith Valley Bulldogs vs. Coleville Wolves

Smith Valley hasn't had much luck against Coleville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Smith Valley fought the good fight in their overtime game against Virginia City on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Muckers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Coleville played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Pyramid Lake and fell 60-14. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Smith Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Coleville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
