Basketball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss

South Garner lost against Garner back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Garner Titans lost 75-55 to the Garner Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Trojans are ranked tenth).

South Garner has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Garner, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

South Garner has already played their next game, a 58-52 win against Southeast Raleigh on the 27th. Garner has also already played their next matchup (against Cleveland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
