Softball Recap: Hamilton Bulldogs vs. Bruceville-Eddy Eagles
Hamilton extended their losing streak to nine on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-17. They lost 15-5 to the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-13 back in March.
As for Bruceville-Eddy, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-16 record. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
For Bruceville-Eddy's part, Avah Williams was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Williams has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Rodriguez, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
As of now, neither Hamilton nor Bruceville-Eddy have any future games scheduled.
