Volleyball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayland lost against Thornapple Kellogg back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Trojans.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Thornapple Kellogg scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 20-25, 25-23.

Wayland has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland will square off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thornapple Kellogg, they will face off against South Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
