Volleyball Game Preview: Silver Fighting Colts vs. Santa Teresa Desert Warriors

The Silver Fighting Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Silver will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Silver got the win against Chaparral by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Silver took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Santa Teresa earned a 3-1 victory over Deming on Tuesday.

Santa Teresa walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Silver's record is now 16-3. As for Santa Teresa, their record now sits at 14-6.

Everything went Silver's way against Santa Teresa when the teams last played last Tuesday, as Silver made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Colts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
