Calallen is 10-0 against King since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Calallen Wildcats will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the King Brahmas at 6:00 p.m. Calallen's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Calallen's offense. They fell just short of London by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, King brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Raymondville with a sharp 5-1 victory last Tuesday. It was an even better day for Mia Campos as she scored three goals for her team.

King moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Calallen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1.

Calallen came out on top in a nail-biter against King in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will Calallen repeat their success, or does King have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
