The Real Life Christian Academy Raptors will head out on the road to take on the Oasis Christian Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Real Life Christian Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Oasis Christian likes a good challenge.
Real Life Christian Academy hadn't beaten First Academy on the road since April 8, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. Real Life Christian Academy put the hurt on First Academy with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Raptors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Daniella Delgadillo made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Lowe, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4. Eliana Klein was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
Real Life Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in ten consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Oasis Christian can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game back in February. Everything went their way against Altamonte Christian as Oasis Christian made off with a 20-5 win. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Shianne Dunkle made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Dunkle was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Oasis Christian let Amber Whittington and Ladela Bradberry run wild. Whittington scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Bradberry scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That run was Bradberry's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Emilie Dutheil, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Real Life Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15.6 runs. As for Oasis Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Oasis Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Real Life Christian Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 14.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Oasis Christian, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits.
