Basketball Recap: Geary Comes Up Short

If Geary was feeling good fresh off their 72-48 takedown of Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Geary Bison were beaten by the Union City Tigers 57-29 on Tuesday. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Geary now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Union City, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.

Geary has already played their next game (against Corn Bible Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Union City Tigers challenge the Oilton Panthers at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday.
