Basketball Recap: Portage Takes a Loss

Portage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 59-21 loss at the hands of the Reedsburg Beavers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-38 back in December of 2024.

Portage's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Reedsburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Portage will face off against Johnson Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reedsburg, they will look to defend their home court on February 6th against Edgewood at 7:15 p.m.
