Recap: Penn Manor vs. Dallastown

In its prior matchup, Penn Manor struggled on the road against Lampeter-Strasburg, and the return home did not provide any consolation. Penn Manor has to be hurting after a devastating 49 - 20 defeat at the hands of Dallastown.

Dallastown's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. That put it at a 21 - 14 advantage. Its success only continued in the second half, where it racked up an additional 28 points.

Dallastown can chalk up much of its success to the efforts of junior Nyzair Smith, who ran for 166 yards and also punched in three touchdowns. Benjamin Ward was in the mix too, providing Dallastown with two touchdowns.

The defeat makes it one more game for Penn Manor (0-3) without a win. The victory bumped Dallastown's record up to 2-1.

Both Dallastown and Penn Manor will be guarding their home fields in their upcoming games. Penn Manor will face off against Lebanon Friday at 7:00 PM. This meeting makes it back-to-back home games for Penn Manor. Meanwhile, Dallastown will battle it out against Spring Grove on Friday at 7:00 PM.
