Baseball Game Preview: South Dade Buccaneers vs. Belen Jesuit Wolverines

The South Dade Buccaneers will head out on the road to challenge the Belen Jesuit Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Belen Jesuit took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Dade, who comes in off a win.

South Dade took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over Southridge. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Buccaneers have posted since March 12th.

The team relied heavily on Jonel Lluveras, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of South Dade's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 9-10 when he doesn't). Sebastian De Valle was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
