Soccer Game Preview: Pleasanton vs. Uvalde

The Pleasanton Eagles will take on the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pleasanton fell victim to Floresville and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers/Jaguars, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers/Jaguars: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Uvalde lost 5-1 to Floresville on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Lino Rodriguez, who's now up to ten this season.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Uvalde, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
