Soccer Recap: Azusa Takes a Loss

After flying high against Duarte last Tuesday, Azusa came back down to earth. The Azusa Aztecs fell just short of the Baldwin Park Braves by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Aztecs in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Azusa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-5. As for Baldwin Park, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Azusa will head out to take on Sierra Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baldwin Park, they will square off against Garey at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
