Baseball Recap: Design Tech Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Design Tech Dragons didn't have quite enough to beat the Menlo School Knights and fell 6-5.

Design Tech got a good showing from Reilly Sutton, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Sutton posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Eoin Halili was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Design Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Menlo School, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Design Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 loss against South San Francisco on the 5th. As for Menlo School, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Evergreen Valley on the 6th.
