Basketball Recap: Southeast Polk Comes Up Short

Southeast Polk lost against Northwest back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Southeast Polk Rams were dealt a 68-32 loss at the hands of the Northwest Wolves. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Southeast Polk's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Polk will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indianola at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Northwest will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Dubuque Senior on January 4, 2025.
