Basketball Game Preview: Andover Panthers vs. Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines

The Andover Panthers will square off against the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Andover's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Bolivar-Richburg's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Andover is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Genesee Valley.

Meanwhile, Bolivar-Richburg suffered their biggest loss since January 8th on Wednesday. They were dealt a 60-29 defeat at the hands of Avoca Central. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 574th, while the Tigers are ranked 271st).

Bolivar-Richburg dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Andover, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Andover was able to grind out a solid win over Bolivar-Richburg when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 49-38. Does Andover have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bolivar-Richburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
