While Nease's victory against Menendez wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Nease won by a set and slipped past Menendez 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Nease was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 24-26, 25-15, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Menendez still got an impressive performance from Leo Villar, who had ten digs.

Nease's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Menendez, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Nease will face off against Beachside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Nease is facing Beachside at the right time seeing as Beachside is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Menendez, they will take on Tocoi Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
