Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Dickinson's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Dickinson won the last time they faced DuPont and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dickinson Rams strolled past the DuPont Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 68-54. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Tigers are ranked 49th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dickinson is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for DuPont, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Dickinson will head out to face off against Odyssey Charter at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. DuPont has already played their next contest (against Howard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
