Volleyball Recap: Straughn Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Straughn can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Glenwood Gators.

Blakeley Smith paced Straughn's offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Kylee Brown and her eight assists.

Straughn now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Glenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Straughn will be playing at home against Opp at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Geneva on the 13th.
