Volleyball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short on the Road Against Beaver

Milford had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Beaver Beavers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Milford took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Stahley Beebe paced Milford's offense, picking up nine kills. Beebe got some help from Jaidyn McMullin and her 23 assists. McMullin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Milford will host Tintic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaver, they will square off against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
