It's playoff time, and O'Connor had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Cesar Chavez Champions 9-8. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five contests in a row.

Matthew Del Carlo got the start for O'Connor and what a start it was: he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Del Carlo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Clayton Sheets was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mikey Gyde, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

O'Connor's record is now 22-8. As for Cesar Chavez, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-10.

As of now, neither O'Connor nor the Champions have any future games scheduled.
